Electives can be chosen from any course offered in the Summer Session or the Winter Session at HSPH. Students in the Summer-Only Masters program in Epidemiology are not allowed to take courses at HSPH during the Fall and Spring Sessions. WinterSession - Considered part of the Spring Semester, WinterSession is a special term at the Harvard School of Public Health which runs January 3 - January 20, 2012. For students and faculty, WinterSession provides a change from the academic routine of the fall and spring semesters, and offers opportunities for creativity and innovation in learning and teaching. In general all full-time students are expected to participate in WinterSession activities, whether for-credit or non-credit, on-campus or off-campus, in accordance with their individual needs and interests, and departmental requirements. Students may take up to five credits.
